It is easy to make home made biscuits. This is from the archives of my grandmother, Ethel Eynard. Jefferson City, MO. 1966.
2 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 C. shortening
2/3 C. milk
