Frequently asked questions 1. I have registered, and I can't login, or it says I am blocked. Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) block our emails. Please review your spam/bulk/trash folders for the acivation email. For your protection we send you an email for your account to activate the account, if you are unable to do this, send us an email, and we will manually activate your membership. 2. Do you have a cookbook? At this time Copykat.com does not offer a cookbook for sale. We do offer all of our recipes for free online. If you have purchased "CopyCat Cookbook", and need assistance, please refer to your credit card statement for who sold this cookbook to you. 3. Where do you get your recipes? Unless otherwise noted all recipes that are on CopyKat.com have been developed by the folks at CopyKat.com. 4. How did CopyKat.com get started? CopyKat.com was started by Stephanie Manley in 1995. The intial website was to keep all of her family recipes in one location. Growing up dining out was a treat, and since she and her family lived out in the country, they would often try to duplicate their favorite restaurant dishes at home. While you can not recreate the restaurant experience at home, you can often duplicate how the food tastes. Stephanie Manley spent several years working in a variety of restaurants, and has over 30 years of cooking experience. 5. How do I send you my requests? You can always email us your requests. Now, while we often use these as guidelines for what recipes to work on next, we have to be able to taste the food. Sometimes we get requests for dishes from restaurants that no longer exist. We are unable to answer these requests as we are unable to sample the dish. |
