It’s not often I get to work with a restaurant on my blog, but I am happy to announce that Houston has a new restaurant opening, and I have exciting news. I can take some of you with me on September 30, 2015, to try Piada out.
Piada is an Italian restaurant chain that currently has restaurants in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. This year they are opening restaurants in Houston, Dallas, and Minneapolis. They are a fast casual restaurant; that actually focuses on the food. They want to serve you food like they do in Italy. If you have been to Italy, you know that casual fast street in Italy is blown your mind delicious. It wasn’t until I went to Italy about ten years ago that I fell in love with coffee and exquisite pizza.
What makes Piada different is that their food is made in house, they actually focus on the food. They know that it is the food that will bring you back in the restaurant. It is often compared to Chipotle in terms of how they care about the food, and how well it tastes. Your food can be completely customized to you completely. So you get to enjoy your meal on your terms. You can see what the folks at Buzzfeed thinks about Piada.
When you enter Piada, you enter a line, and you can customize your Piada, pasta, and salads the way you want. Everything is made fresh and in front of you. You can also try some of their street food such as Piada sticks, which are pictured above, think stuffed breadsticks. They also have excellent desserts such as cannoli chips.
What does that mean for you? I can take 16 fans of CopyKat with me on September 30, 2015, at 7 pm, at their new Memorial City location. You can read about their opening on Facebook. What do you need to do? You need to sign up on this form.
I will randomly choose the people that are able to attend the VIP opening with me. Should you be chosen I will follow up with an email. This special night will be for people in the Houston area only. Please take a moment to fill out the form and sign up for the chance to join me for dinner. Please fill out the form accurately, so I can contact you, should you win a spot to go.
