I can’t wait to try this!!!

This was amazingly delicious! Next time I’ll add a bit more green onion and might mix both Cheddar and PepperJack cheese. I love the creaminess with the crunch of the sourdough bread, yum!

Holy cow, this recipe was amazing. It turned out way better than expected (and I expected an extremely tasty sandwich). It turned out so well, and I can’t wait to make it again!

An hour seems like a really long time to cook an already baked loaf of bread! Did it get really browned on the bottom?

    • http://www.copykat.com Stephanie

I thought it was a long time too, but the recipe was good as written, the bread does not brown in the sense that it burns, it becomes nice and crisp.

Made this tonight for my boyfriend and his mom…. his mom demanded I make it again! Absolutely AMAZING!!! I wouldn’t change a thing, this recipe is perfect!!

  • Kathelynn

I hollow out the bottom and top…fill and cover.

To serve it I take the top off and fill top with Fritos and let it sit next to
the bottom. If I run out of Fritos I put the bread chunks in the top half for dipping….

Thought a little explaination might help..
Better nail down anything you don’t want dipped………enjoy!

sounds yummy. could also be used as a dip for brad cubes.

It says put the mix into the bottom. Are you hollowing out the bottom at all or does it just get layer on top of the bottom?
    Looks great!

    • http://www.copykat.com Stephanie

Yes, you hollow out the bottom, put the mix in. When I made mine I hollowed out both the top and the bottom.

what did you do with the inside of the bread you removed?

        • Stephanie Manley

I don’t recall. You could turn it into bread crumbs. I bet what happened to this was two puppies were made happy by some bread.

  • Brenda Mueller

This sounds like the winning recipe to me, I will be making this one for sure. Good Job!
