Favorite Things Salad

To me, summer spells out salad. Favorite Thing Salad is a recipe I adapted from a recipe mailing list I have been on. Favorite Things Salad is a delicious salad that can be made ahead of time, and served later. This hearly salad has flavors of the southwest, and Italian influences. You could adapt this salad for what you have in your refrigerator.

I also like adding blueberries or strawberries, etc. to our salads and using simple oil and vinegar dressings. An alternative dressing would be lime juice, oil and a bit of sugar. We have 3 AreoGardens and one is dedicated to Salad Greens so about every other day we have fresh tender greens for 2 salads.

My site has some cooking info especially some Asian cooking info.

I like making salads with goodies I have in my fridge and pantry. I always find something fun to throw in. I think tomorrow it might be fresh cherries, as a matter of fact.
