King Cole Restaurant French Dressing is a smooth creamy dressing for any occasion. Not too sweet, not to tangy! This recipe was given to me by a former cook at the famous King Cole Restaurant in Dayton, Ohio and is authentic.
King Cole Restaurant French Dressing
This is a dressing that tastes so well on a crisp summer salad. This stays fresh for about a week. This recipe yields about 2 1/2 cups to 3 cups of salad dressing.
- Yield: 2 cups
- 1 egg
- 1 cup catsup ("ketchup")
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 1/2 cups salad oil
Preparation: Mix all ingredients except salad oil in a blender. With motor running, drizzle the salad oil in in a steady stream. Blend until emulsified.Print Recipe
