You can change this a little by adding garlic or ginger or both! another variation would be roasted tahini or just plain toasted sesame seeds. This is great on fried food, steamed veggies, spring rolls, pasta noodles, fried noodles, as a marinate, etc.

- 1 cup tomato ketchup
- 1/2 cup Kikkoman soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1/4 cup miso with 2 teaspoons water
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sugar
- sesame oil (just a few drops)
Mix all the ingredients together and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes. Drop some sesame oil before serving.Print Recipe
