Thank you Michael for bringing this to my attention, I have included authorship of this recipe at the bottom along with the name of the person who originally sent this recipe. This is one good reason why I have pretty much stopped taking individual recipes, because unless I wrote the recipe personally, I can't be 100% of the authorship of the recipe. I didn't catch the cooking of the sauce in this recipe, I don't know if that was just a comment, or a difference in this recipe from the original.

There is no cooking of the sauce. This is Giada from the Food Network's recipe, verbatim.

No, this recipe was not intended to be the Olive Garden version, this was just an everyday recipe.

Yes, this is suppose to copy Olive Gardens, but there are no further directions on the method of cooking this sauce .Also, no mention of the " fresh spinach" in the sauce. No mention of the "3 cheese torttellini " they serve it with.Which, you may purchase at a local supermarket chain, in the "fresh Deli Department"...Please continue with further instructions to "finish up this wonderful dish".Thank you!

Note: this recipe is not intended to duplicate a recipe at the Olive Garden, I don't mention the pasta because it isn't in this dish. - Stephanie Manley
