i agree with buffalo momma...no self respecting buffaloian or anyone from the surround area ( born and raised in niagara falls for 34 years) would eat their chiken wings with anything less than bleu cheese...and please dont forget the celery and carrot sticks!!!

I make Buffalo Chicken dip regularly and everyone loves it. First off, I don't use Ranch Dressing. I use Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing. I also use about a half a jar instead of 1/2 cup. Second, I boil 3 chicken breasts and shred them. I also fold in the chicken and cheese last. Finally, I serve it with Tostitos scoops and it is amazing. Happy eating! :)

Yes, 1 C means 1 cup. This recipe is pretty flexible, you could use the 8 oz. of cheese.

So... I assume 1c means one cup as in a measuring cup, not 8oz as in a bag of pre-shredded cheese right?

ummm....I have lived in Buffalo all my 30 years and Ranch is not what true Buffalonians put in their Chicken wing dip....we use chunky & creamy blue cheese like Rooties or Maria's....and I personally put celery chunks in it too....just an FYI
