This is a delightful cheese spread that will add a special touch to your dinner.  You may want to serve this bread with a warm bowl of soup. One of the advantages of this cheese spread is that you don’t have to use it all at once, you can use it as you need it. I love to keep a bowl of these cheese spread in my refrigerator during the chilly months so I can make some cheese bread during the winter when I make a lot of soup.
Northwoods Inn Cheese Spread

Northwoods Inn Cheese Spread

1 lb margarine or butter, softened
3/4 lb finely grated cheddar cheese
3 oz grated Romano cheese
3 tbsp plus 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp celery salt
2 tsp garlic
2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 tsp paprika

Mix all ingredients together with electric mixer until well blended. Refrigerate.  When ready to use, spread on bread, and broil in an oven until melted, and just toasty.
