I started off with half of the recipe because I didn't want to waste my good tequila in case it wasn't good. Needless to say after a taste I made the rest of the recipe and now I'm out of ingredients so I can't make more. This is fantastic! I'll never buy a mix ever again! I only had Diet 7-Up on hand and I used it. It wasn't bad but I think I'll probably go ahead and buy Sprite for my party. Just follow the directions and you won't be disappointed! I used to think all Tequila probably tasted the same and it didn't matter but after trying the difference between the different price ranges it really does. I must suggest you get a good, high quality tequila because you will notice a better taste and smoothness to your margarita. If you use a high quality, 100% Agave silver tequila you won't feel t hat yucky feeling in the back of your throat and if you do end up drinking too much you won't notice it the next day like you will with cheaper tequila.
