Diabetic Sugar cookies
My father was diabetic and my Grandmother would always try out new recipes trying to find really tasty diabetic cookies. These ones were really good
Diabetic Sugar Cookies
These diabetic cookies are packed full of nuts and raisins, you won't even miss the sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
Combine ingredients in order given. Stir with a wooden spoon until well mixed. Put on a greased cookie sheet. Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
