Chicken Devon – an easy casserole that will have everyone asking for more.
You can make this dish with left over chicken or really any bits of chicken you have. I like using the boneless skinless thighs in this easy to make casserole. People will be asking you for this recipe.
3 Pounds of Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
3 Pounds of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 Cups of Mayonnaise
1 Large Package of Frozen Broccoli Flowers
1 Large Sweet Onion (Chopped)
Boil the chicken breasts for 20 minutes and then cut into 1/2 inch cubes. In a large bowl mix all of the ingredients, except for 1 pound of Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Place the mixture in a large glass backing dish, and sprinkle the remaining pound of Shredded Cheddar Cheese on the top. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 60 minutes or until the topping on the cheese bubbles. Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes to allow the cheese to congeal before serving.
