Simon and Seafort’s Maytag Blue Cheese Dressing
Be sure to splurge for the Maytag blue cheese, it makes this dressing extra special.
Ingredients
- 1 small Clove Garlic, Minced
- Tabasco to Taste
- Pinch of Dry Mustard
- 1/3 cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon Onion Salt
- 1-1/2 ounces Buttermilk
- Pinch of White Pepper
- 3 ounces MAYTAG BLUE CHEESE
- 1 tablespoon PLUS 1 teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar
- 2-1/2 tablespoons Toasted Slivered Almonds
- 1/3 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 tablespoons MAYTAG BLUE CHEESE, Crumbled
Instructions
Dissolve spices into vinegar, Worcestershire and Tabasco. Combine with sour cream and mayonnaise. Thin dressing with buttermilk, add Maytag Blue Cheese and let sit overnight. Serve on romaine greens. Garnish with toasted slivered almonds and crumbled Maytag Blue Cheese.
