This goes along with the famous Brown Derby Cobb Salad, but it also can go well with any salad.  This salad dressing also goes well on meaty sandwiches and as a dip for fresh vegetables.

Brown Derby Special French Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

Combine water, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, and oils. Chill. Shake well before serving.

    While the ingredients are correct, the amounts are off for the original Brown Derby Old Fashioned French Dressing served on the Cobb salad.

    This is good with vegetables I used it as a afternoon snack. The kids loved it! I enjoyed it also!
