Benihana Super Salad Dressing – we revisit Benihana for another salad dressing, why not prepare a fresh salad dressing for your everynight dinner.

We love going to Benihana, everything is so fresh tasting.  Their salad dressing is so good.  Don’t miss this salad dressing.  This keeps well for two weeks in your refrigerator.

1/2 C. Soybean Oil
1/2 C. White Vinegar
3 Tbsp. MSG
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger
1/2 C. sliced Celery
1/4 C. coarsely chopped Onion

Combine all ingredients in an electric blender. Mix at medium speed for 3-5 seconds until celery is finely grated. Add dressing to the salad and toss. Serves 6 to 8 people and makes 1 1/2 C. dressing.

    3 tablespoons MSG? Is this correct? Seems like a lot!

    I have a much healthier dressing that tastes just like the one from Bennihana’s.
    1 large carrot, chopped
    1 shallot chopped
    2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, chopped
    2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/4 cup grapeseed oil
    2 Tbsp. miso (japanese flavoring)
    Blend in blender all ingredients except grapeseed; add that slowly after the rest has been mixed!
