This versatile dip can be eaten with crackers, or in a sandwich. You can make this at home for much less than what it costs in the store.

1/2 C. plain yogurt
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 Tbsp. tahini
1/2 C. plain yogurt
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 Tbsp. tahini
Mix all ingredients together in a food processor or blender. Mix until smooth.
Tahini is roasted sesame seed paste. This can be found in the ethnic food section. If this is unavailable, you may substitute creamy peanut butter for this.
