Amie generously donated this recipe; she says this stuff takes forever to dry out, unlike playdough. She said her mother in law made this for her husband all of the time when he was growing up.

2 C. Flour
1 C. Salt
2 C. Water [food coloring in it (opt.)]
4 tsp. Cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. Cooking oil
Mix dry ingredients in saucepan add liquid. Cook over medium until the mixture pulls from the side and forms dough. Knead awhile. Keep in airtight container in fridge. Makes a lot, for small batches cut 1/4.
