One Minute Cookies
From the archives of Judy Chatham. I can remember my mother making these pretty often. We never added the peanut butter, and they came out fine.
2 C. Sugar
2 C. Oatmeal
1/2 C. Milk
1/2 stick Butter
3 Tbsp. Cocoa
1/2 C. Peanut Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Nuts, chopped
2 C. Oatmeal
1/2 C. Milk
1/2 stick Butter
3 Tbsp. Cocoa
1/2 C. Peanut Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Nuts, chopped
Combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa. Boil for 1 minutes. Remove from heat, then add oatmeal, peanut butter, vanilla, and nuts. Stir until well mixed. Drop from a teaspoon onto wax paper or foil. Place in refrigerator until they are cool and firm.
