Layered Italian Casserole

This recipe is by Lee Ann Russell. Springfield,

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 C. chopped onion
1 small clove of garlic
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
8 ounce of spaghetti cooked and drained
2 C. cottage cheese
8 ounce mozzarella cheese, sliced
1/2 C. grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef, onion, garlic and drain fat. Stir in tomato sauce, parsley, and oregano. In an 8X12-inch shallow pan, layer spaghetti, meat sauce, cottage cheese, mozzarella, and finally top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.
