I love warm chocolate chip cookies, in fact, I have often said I would sell my soul for a freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, while that hasn’t happened just yet, in the right moment it may be a possibility.

Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies this recipes is delicious!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 16 ounce package chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
Cream shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla till light and fluffy. Sift together dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture; blend well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yield: 4 dozen
