Topping:
3/4 cups butter, ( 1 1/2 sticks)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bring butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla to a boil, and pour over cake while still warm.
