Sugar Crumb Topping

Source Elsie Langrehr. Kansas City, KS. 1972.

3/4 C. packed brown sugar
1/2 C. granulated sugar
3/4 C. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. margarine

Blend sugars, flour salt, butter and spoon over apples. This is good for about 6 to 8 apples. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, and then reset oven for 350 degrees and bake for 35-40 minutes.
