It isn’t the Holiday’s at my house without Spritz cookies.  These are colorful cookies that are made with a cookie press.  These are like a shortbread cookie, not to sweet, and these go so well with a cup of coffee.

1 C. butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. almond extract
4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Thoroughly cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract’ beat well. Sift together flour
and baking powder; add gradually to creamed mixture. Mixing to smooth dough. Do not chill. Force dough through cookie press onto and ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
