Snow Icecream

I can remember making this many times when I was a child in Colorado. Once again this is from my Grandmother McDowell. She used to make this for my Mom, and the kids in the neighborhood. Use fresh snow, and make sure it is clean :-)

This is a fun recipe for the kids to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla
  • a dash of salt

Instructions

Add snow to desired consistency. And enjoy. I realize some people may not like to eat raw eggs. You might want to try Egg Beaters, but you are on your own. I live in Houston, TX, so it is not likely that I will get a chance to try this one.

I also live in Texas, and no we don’t get much snow, and not enough to pick up and eat, either. Try an ice shaver. You’ll get close to snow.
