Redbud Inn Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie – you take a pecan pie and add chocolate
Imagine a pecan pie filled with pecans and chocolate chips. This is a great change over regular chocolate pie. Call over your chocolate lovers for this one!
4 Eggs
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Light Corn Syrup
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 C. Butter, melted
1 C. chopped Pecans
1/2 C. Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 unbaked Pastry Shell (10 inches)
Vanilla Ice Cream, optional
1 C. Sugar

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla. Add butter and mix well. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 – 55 minutes, or until set. Serve with ice cream if desired.
