My grandmother McDowell has always been known for her Ice Cream socials. Here is the ice cream that we have made at it for years.
8 to 10 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can Eagle Brand milk
3 quarts milk
1 3/4 C. sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
Mix well. Prepare according to your ice cream freezer’s directions.
