Hawaiian Cake
Source Neighbor. Independence, MO. 1969.
1/2 lb. butter
1 pkg. graham cracker crumbs (13 3/4 oz.)
2 C. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 C. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
5 or 6 eggs
1 pkg. coconut
1 pkg. pecans (3/4 C.)
Cream butter, eggs, and sugar. Add milk and graham cracker crumbs with soda and baking powder mix in crumbs. Finally add nuts and coconut. This will need to be baked into three 8′x8′ cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Icing
1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1 #2 can crushed pineapple well drained (large can)
Combine in bowl and beat until well mixed.
