Crazy Cake
This is also known as a dump cake. It doesn’t get much easier than this, dump in crushed pineapple, cherry pie filling, and a boxed cake mix. Source Helen Burleson. Shepherd, TX. 1989.
1 can crushed pineapple or any kind of fruit
1 can cherry pie filling
1 C. of chopped nuts
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks melted butter
1 can cherry pie filling
1 C. of chopped nuts
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks melted butter
Spread pineapple on bottom of long cake pan. Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple, spread cake mix dry over this. Pour melted butter over cake mix, sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
