This casserole is great for those nights when you want to make a 1 dish meal!
- 6 tablespoon Butter
- 6 tablespoon Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 cup Milk, scalded
- 2 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Cheese, grated
- 1 Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 cup Celery
- 1 cup Noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 cup Chicken, cooked and cubed
Melt 4 tablespoons butter; blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk and 1 cup broth; cook until thick and smooth. Stir in cheese. Saute onion, green pepper, and celery in remaining butter. Add 1-cup broth; simmer for 5 minutes. Add to sauce with noodles and chicken. Turn into a casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.Print Recipe
