A Main Street Cafe Holiday Banana Split
1 1/2 quarts peppermint ice cream
4 small bananas, cut in half both lengthwise and crosswise
1/2 C. chocolate flavored syrup
1 C. whipping cream, whipped
1/2 C. chopped nuts
For each serving, place three scoops ice cream into serving bowl. Stand four banana slices up around edge of bowl. Drizzle 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup over ice cream. Dollop a generous amount of whipped cream over ice cream; sprinkle with 2 tablespoons nuts. Makes 4 servings.
