Crab and Shrimp Au Gratin
From the archives of Bill Spalding, this Au Gratin is the perfect dish for company!
4 Tbsp. Flour
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/2 C. Process Cheese spread
1 C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 C. Milk
1/2 tsp. Tabasco Sauce
1/4 lb. Crab Meat
1/2 lb. Cooked Shrimp
Hot cooked Rice
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/2 C. Process Cheese spread
1 C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 C. Milk
1/2 tsp. Tabasco Sauce
1/4 lb. Crab Meat
1/2 lb. Cooked Shrimp
Hot cooked Rice
Combine flour, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of milk. Stir until smooth. Combine cheese spread and remaining milk in top of a double boiler, cook over hot water until cheese melts. Add flour mixture and hot sauce to cheese mixture, stir until smooth. Add shrimp and crabmeat. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish and top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice.
