Courthouse Inn Deluxe Cheesecake

2 C. (60) vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 C. butter, melted

4 – 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1 1/3 C. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

2 C. dairy sour cream
1/4 C. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Cherry or Strawberry pie filling
1/2 C. butter, melted

Combine crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of the 13×9 inch pan. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla; pour over crust. Bake at 375 degrees, 30 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Spread over cheesecake. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Cool; chill. Serve with cherry or strawberry pie filling. Makes 16 servings.
