Colonel Sanders Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie is a favorite pie of so many of us. Did you know the Colonel Sanders has a recipe for Pecan pie? This recipe came from a booklet Colonel Sanders put out in 1964. The wording is extremely choppy, but these are the Colonel’s recipes. He did not include his Chicken Recipe in this booklet.
Pecan Pie

Colonel Sanders Pecan Pie

Yield: 8 servings.

4 eggs, slightly, beaten
1 C. light Karo Syrup
1/3 C. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 Tbsp. Butter
2 tsp. Vanilla
pinch of Salt
2/3 C. pecans

Place pecans in an unbaked pie shell, and mix all other ingredients together, and pour into pie shell. Bake 35 minutes in a 325 – 350 degree oven.
