Armstrong’s Turkey Devonshire

February 4, 2009

I got to know this place a little too well during my stay up in Pittsburgh. Actually it was a real treat. The food was outstanding, and I ate the majority of my meals at this place. This sandwich was one of my favorites.
Turkey Devonshire sandwich

Armstrong’s Turkey Devonshire

Yield: 1 serving.
2 slices of Sourdough, toast slightly
2 big slices of tomato
1/4 lb. good deli sliced turkey meat
1 C. Armstrong’s Cheese Sauce
Dash of paprika

Place toasted slices of bread on a plate that can be placed in the oven, or you can use a pie dish. Place meat and then tomato on top of the bread. Pour cheese sauce over all, and sprinkle with some paprika. Place into a 350 degree oven, for about 10 minutes, you will want the cheese sauce to brown. Now, enjoy :-) [poll id="null"]

We loved this the combination of the sourdough and the cheese sauce made the sandwich!
