Simon and Seafort’s Brandy Ice

Practically everyone in Alaska knows about the high-octane shakes from Simon & Seafort’s Restaurant in Anchorage. The ”adult milkshakes” have been a dessert fixture since opening day.

Simon and Seafort’s Brandy Ice

Yield: 2 servings

1-1/2 C. good vanilla ice cream
2 Tbsp. brandy
2 tsp. Kahlua
2 tsp. dark creme de cacao

 

Combine the ice cream, brandy, Kahlua and creme de cacao in a milkshake can or blender jar, and whip at medium speed until smooth but still very thick. Serve in tall glasses. Makes 2 servings.
